Virtual Aquascaping 101 – How to build a successful aquascape at home

Join Kevin from BHS to learn the basics of aquascaping, including the essential tools and supplies you need to build a successful freshwater aquarium in your home. Professional aquascaper and BHS owner Kevin Kelly will teach this virtual class live, sharing lessons he’s learned that you can apply to your own tanks, and common layouts every aquascaper should know. The class will run for approximately 1.5 hours, including live Q&A. Bring your questions!

About BHS Brooklyn Hardscape began as a dedicated aquascape competition group and is now a small business dedicated to aquascaping, retail aquarium supplies, and installations. Our mission is to promote the art and craft of aquascaping and design in planted tanks. Kevin Kelly — aka Rossfett — is a graphic designer and illustrator who has designed and built planted tanks since 2003. A former skatepunk turned mad scientist, Kevin’s dual curiosities led to him to pursue formal education in both science and art. Aquascape design and installation represents the ultimate mix of Kevin’s obsessions – the perfect balance of art and science.
